Faviola Araujo

Faviola Araujo, affectionately known as “Favy,” is the Lead Medical Assistant at Renaissance Medical Group and the dedicated medical assistant to Dr. Carlos Ermocilla. With nearly two decades of experience in family practice and internal medicine, Favy brings exceptional clinical expertise and strong leadership to the team. She is highly skilled in patient triage, vital signs, EKGs, injections, pulmonary function testing, inhalation treatments, blood draws, and assisting with a wide range of in-office procedures. Her extensive experience with electronic health record systems—including NextGen, Allscripts, and Amazing Charts—ensures accurate documentation and seamless coordination of care.

As Lead Medical Assistant, Favy plays a key role in the clinic’s day-to-day operations and overall management. She helps oversee workflow efficiency, supports and guides staff, manages medical and office supplies, coordinates referrals and prior authorizations, and ensures smooth communication between patients, providers, and pharmacies. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is known for her warm personality, compassionate patient care, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Her dedication, reliability, and leadership make her an invaluable member of the Renaissance Medical Group team.

Maria Lopez

Maria Lopez is a highly experienced and dedicated Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist at Renaissance Medical Group, where she also serves as Dr. Beatriz Ang-Ermocilla’s medical assistant. With over 20 years of hands-on clinical experience in Las Vegas, Maria brings extensive expertise in patient triage, venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, catheterization, and in-office procedures across multiple specialties including primary care, urology, pediatrics, and women’s health. Her strong clinical background, combined with her proficiency in electronic health records and insurance coordination, allows her to support both patients and providers with efficiency and precision.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Maria is known for her sense of humor and her ability to calm patients with her wit and warmth. She has a long-standing reputation for thoroughness, teamwork, and dedication to high-quality patient care. Whether drawing labs, assisting with procedures, or coordinating care behind the scenes, Maria plays an essential role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience at Renaissance Medical Group.

 

Mayra Flores

Mayra Flores is a dedicated and compassionate Medical Receptionist with nearly two decades of experience serving patients in the Las Vegas community. As the first point of contact at Renaissance Medical Group, she plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for both patients and providers. Mayra is highly skilled in appointment scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, co-payment collection, and electronic medical record management, ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced primary care setting. Her strong commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality reflects her professionalism and integrity.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Mayra is known for her friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to provide compassionate support to every patient she assists. With extensive experience in coordinating care between patients, providers, and pharmacies, she helps ensure seamless communication and continuity of care. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dedication to patient service make her an invaluable member of the healthcare team.
